Oh yes!! I love being a planner and an organiser but there is something so joyus about just following the leader/showing up!

My Japan trip is so sorted its not funny! I just follow like a sheep! And love it!

Well I’ve been a bit lazy and stuff and I’ll get a few more photos up of Banff, Sunshine and Lake Louise when I get home. (Yes, when I get home, It’s been 2 weeks already..)

Anyway, since I last posted, we rode Sunshine, which was really fun 15cm of fresh the night before we rode, did a few laps through the park, did a bit of hiking which was awesome. Got some awesome first turns in.

The next day we went to Lake Louise. The snow wasn’t the best so we didn’t really check much of the mountain out. Just rode park all day which was pretty sick. I didn’t take any photos but got a heap of GoPro footage.

After LL it was our last night in Banff so we had a bit of a big night.. We were meant to ride Mt Norquay the next day but I wasn’t quite up for it. billy Neither were a few of the other guys, so we just cruised around Banff. Bit of sight seeing and all that, tried to play some Curling at the Fairmont Hotel in Banff lol. Some of the crew did ride and a few others went dog sledding. Dog sledding looked pretty cool.. definitely do that next time.

Today (which is technically now yesterday anyway) we left Banff and drove to Calgary for the end of the trip. It’s been an amazing trip had an awesome group of people and would definitely do it again! Probably longer next time as well.. 2 weeks just isn’t enough haha. shred Only bad thing is that I have to leave tomorrow/today LOL

Great read, Koper!!!!! Still doesn’t let ya off the hook for not sayin howdy in Whistler though!!!!!  hmmm

Avatar

Yeah 3 days in Whistler just wasn’t enough.. downer actually 2 weeks in Canada wasn’t even enough lol.

Avatar

Yeah, we did the whole two weeks in Whistler, and that was nowhere near enough time either!!!!!

So, where was ya pick?????

Avatar

Really tough to pick, had heaps of fun at every mountain, they were all so different. Kicking Horse for the whole ‘Big Mountain’ kinda feel, mad steep runs etc. Whistler/Blackcomb had the best park, so much park! Heaps of room for progression, not that Whistler/Blackcomb doesn’t have big/steep sections, but KH was some next level shit for me lol. Had a mad day at Sunshine as well, coz we got some fresh turns in. LOL
