I don’t know, there was A-bu-Cha when I was there and the bakery one.
My accom for the first week is pretty close to it!!!
But man if you saw my party “schedule”... i think i have 3 ‘free’ nights in the two weeks.
Yeah, the original A-Bu-Cha was a bakery durin the day, then that counter turned into the bar, and then the room down two stairs was the restaurant only for dinner!!!!!
They were gonna open another one up the main street in one of the more modern buildings, cause the original one was booked out solid for two months in advance!!!!!

Yeah, No.2 is still on the way up the hill. It gets booked out as well, but they take walk ins b/n 6-7, usually got to get there about 5.45. Well that was the case last year. Going their tonight. Will let you know.

Just back in from riding, EPIC. Under Hano3 via gate 5?? Knee deep+. Two laps on this then down to strawberry fields for the rest of the day. Weather really closing in. Lunch at bakery. I reckon they have had 5cm fall in the half hour I was there. Night riding tonight I the winds hold off.

Upload didn’t work but here is the snow report.
.Sparrows Report
Light snow falling as dawn breaks with a further 10 cm or so here in the village and 15 or so on upper mountain over the last 24hrs.
Temps this morning of minus 7 C here in the village and 14 C below zero at mid to upper mountain.
Winds are similar as yesterday varying between at 5 - 25k’s WNW at top with wind chill at minus 25 -30 C so layers and a mask is advised !
Upper lifts should be open today again with wind velocities somewhat behaving themselves, we shall see !
Gate access….we’ll know soon enough….Keep your eye on the avalanche report.
Hard copies are also posted at the top of various lifts and gate points so we shall see !Strong Advice Always to take extra caution beyond the boundaries and please NEVER poach ropes. Always respect and adhear to the patrol rules of the mountain and the avalanche report.
The link is supplied on this page.Yesterday was superb with thigh deep dry as a bone quality up there ....truly an epic morning program where we saw the big machinery out in force again chewing the roads of the village and trucking it out of town as snow continues to dump.
Snow clearers on the mountain as well had to move huge amounts of snow from the way of moving chairs to keep them in operation as massive drifts had built over recent days.
All upper lifts were in operation by around 10am giving access to superb powder where guests found thenselves amongst amazing conditions.
Ace #4, King # 4 and Jumbo #4 at Annupuri at the very top were off the hook as deep dry lines were tracked and pluming face shots were unavoidable. No complaints from anyone. The outook is rosey with snow booked into the forecast for the next 3 -4 days married with super cold dry air from the Siberiam NW.
It would appear that people have been poaching ropes and gated areas that have been closed for very good reasons in recent days. As massive amounts of snow build in areas that are very prone to slide….the danger in these conditions is extreme.
Gates are closed and ropes are there for the safety of all and we urge that respect of the mountain patrol and the daily posted avalanche report is upheld. It only takes one avalanche to wipe out many people so please do not break rope lines or gated areas. Patrol officials will come down on you bigtime, that is of course if a slide doesnt take you and or others out first.
There is plenty of ridiculous deep dry powder inbound so please ride wisely and I’ll check back in later with a wrap up of the day as it was on the mountain here in Niseko and the latest forecast details..
