Reminds me of last week when my step dad sent me text asking why he found his pen in the washing machine - I replied with the above statement, he became very irritated and it wasn’t until many txts later after I pointed out that a pen going through the wash isn’t that big a deal that he told me it was worth $400 and gold plated!!!!
The pen still works - some gold plating is chipped.
You should be able to open up the iPod and let it dry out (DON’T USE A HAIR DRIER). Another option is to put it in a bag of rice for a few days, this will absorb all the moisture. After that charge it up then it will be fine. <I’ve seen the rice method used on many expensive/sensitive equipment including $10K camera lenses and computers.

It is out in a container of rice sun baking right now.

Devo that the washing machine died last night. There was a moment of “shit thats cool” as smoke billowed from it while it made a hell of a racket on spin cycle.
Double Devo that the washer we had sitting in the shed that we bought last time it first one shat itself and has been used 20 times spewed water out, flooding the laundry and is now seeping up the hall way
