Got the link to this through Sandbox on Facebook, saw the trailer a while back but this is the full film - great watch and a bit full on at times but it’s a great watch and hopefully an eye opener to those who don’t wear a helmet.
This full-length film has been over a year in the making following the journey of Danny Toumarkine after suffering from a traumatic brain injury on January 3rd of 2011.
Danny and his brother Conor had shared a dream of creating a season long snowboarding video for nearly 15 years. After starting a production company called Shreddy Times in 2007, together they documented Danny’s path to stardom within the snowboard industry. While filming in Montana, with a group of close friends, Danny fell on a routine jump and hit his head. After nearly two weeks in a medically induced coma, four brain surgeries and thirty-three days later, Danny was discharged from the hospital.
Watch, as Danny overcomes the most challenging and difficult time of his life. With epic documentation of Danny’s near death experience, this video takes you through the ups and downs of his recovery process.

That was Amazing. Definately tore at the heart strings a few times. Seeing his mates all pull together for him was awesome.
wow, the amount of times i have cracked my head is scary. A few times i sorta blacked out,
i have given my current helmet to my missus and am going to invest in a new one prior to the start of the season for sure.
Nice one Finney. It sure can happen to the best of them. Good there was a happy ending. I for one will be wearing a helmet this season.
MU
yeh shits scary, fell from my 14ft vert, 10ft to flat on the back of my head. No helmet, allways happens wen u forget ure helmet. Head spinning like a prick, tried getting up and walking off the ramp, fell right back down and allmost comatose for 10 mins, bullshit nobody was there. coulda been worse. and on a routine backside ollie, freakin slippery ramp.
good to see crew f’in that fear off after a serious injury and getting right back into it.
helmets are expensive tho cant afford to replace everytime i smash it on vert.
