That has to be a comedy piece. It looked somewhat of a set up.
Let this be a lesson to the younger kids out there - many household kitchen ingredients can be dangerous; I mean she could have suffocated on the cinnamon.
I know of a few kitchen herbs that will outright kill you if you did things like that!
