I’ll definitely be hitting this up.. was at One Track Mind in crows nest last week speaking to one of the guys there about this and it sounds like a great chance to sus out my next setup
If I could afford it after my 5 weeks in NZ I would definitely be there. Alas, I don’t think my uni student wages will get me there. :(
awsome hopefully i can make it down
deinitley going to buller :D
Did this last year and then bought my Forum Scallywag from it.
Other impressive boards were the DC XFB but I wanted a RC board.
Would do it again but I have a 21st to attend that weekend :(
BIG TIP THOUGH: Bring your bindings up, then they will screw them on for you… I couldn’t ride the Yes or Capita boards as I was borrowing bindings every time I went back. And don’t try to slide boxes on bataleons TBT first time riding it, I stacked it pretty hard not knowing the base lol.
Pretty keen for Hotham

cheers for that tip… i’m really keen on trying out the yes typo
Great day out there.. just wish i had more time to try out more boards. Clear winner for me was the YES typo, did everything I was looking for out of all the boards I tried so was pretty stoked. Tried out the custom V rocker with the new Malativa/Infidel (different shops have them labelled differently) bindings and was pretty impressed but the lateral support of those crazy high backs aswell.
only downside for me was not being able to try out the yes dudes board as they didn’t have a 157 and the 154 was always out whenever I was in there swapping boards over.
Would highly recommend getting out to one of the remaining days for anyone who is thinking about a new board
p.s. just on a side note the DC guys said they wouldn’t be at the buller day but would be at baw baw instead
