Stoked it’s almost footy season! The withdrawals are getting unbearable!

Allstars game on the w/e will keep me going a few more weeks. 

Stoked I got the lawn mowed yesterday before the rain starts again this week.

It was over a foot high is some places. This was after the ride-on broke the drive belt on Saturday and I couldn’t get any parts until yesterday. I ended up doing a full service on the mower and all up it took over 4hrs (1.5hrs for the service) - it was 150hrs overdue!
Now the John Deere runs beautifully, the only thing left to do is sharpen the blades. And when I handed mum the invoice for the parts it felt so good to show her evidence that I am helping pay my way.

I did get a bit sunburnt though but I’m stoked as the sunburn is keeping me warm in this cooler weather, I even stood out in the drizzle in the middle of the night to cool down.

Ahhh summer…

I’ve had 4/5 of my classes and so far its looking like it’s going to be an awesome year, my year 12’s & 10’s i had last year & get to have them again this year and they are just lovely… my year 12’s especially, there is only 7 of them so its a beautiful class… had my first Drama lesson today & am pretty psyched to see where it will head.. although the one class i havent had yet may be the problem one… but hey, 4/5 aint bad

P.s Stoked the flood waters are receding and life will hopefully get back to normal around here… although there is nothing quite like the smell of stale, rancid water to add to a place
