Christmas Road Triping!

So my new job came with forced 3 weeks off work over Christmas, so with nothing else planned and no cash due to already committing to Japan I headed on the road!

A walk from Charlotte Pass

Open for summer tourists at Charlotte Pass.

Also the Eyre cafe in Perisher is open in summer.

For those at the Shred Fishing Trip. This is a NYE party set up in our spot. There is easily 20 -30 tents shade clothes etc

After News Years I headed to Chill Hill! That mystical place that only true Boardworlders know about!

But on the way way I was asked to swing by X marks the spot.

This was the full road I travelled along.

I am not sure why this sign amused me - but it did…

I love the above sign says Victoria… but the reverse sign only says Jindabyne.

The border crossing - apparently this was heavily decorated with boardworld stickers after the shred.

To be honest these shit phone photos don’t do the views justice AT ALL!!

So after hours apon hours of driving… and a little measuring mistake by google maps, and a little luck with mobile reception (ie Azz and i both finding phone reception at the exact same moment). I found him on a dirt track.

Azz please post the pic of my filfy car! Cause it will help with the next part of the story.

Had an awesome afternoon on the Snowy River - no pics as I left phone/camera in the car.

Yeah Yeah - but the fact that at that moment of your call I also had reception was pretty impressive… (not that i can take credit for it - it was a fluke!

Did Azz say the Vic sign was covered in stickers? Did he say it was him? Cant remember if we did that or not

Arrived at Chill Hill later that afternoon.

The next morning i served up these awesome Cinnamon Rolls which had been almost cooked in the back of my car in 100 deg heat!

Had a lovely couple of days at Chill Hill - I think you have all seen the photo evidence of that! Including Hand bags, and stickers… Hey what happen to the B ball video K2?

Next up the drive home…. There is a bit of a story that goes along with that one…. which starts by Blizz texting Azz. I just got off the phone from Oz after her altercation with the police!
