Some 2013 Capita graphic goodness. . .

The Midlife series has some of my favourite graphics. All years of them

I’m really impressed with Capita’s 2013 Horrorscope graphics.

Another view of Burton’s noback binding proto.

Opinions were divided on the graphics of the 2012 YES ‘Pick Your Line’ boards. I, for one, wasn’t into them. Perhaps opinions will again be divided on the 2013 YES ‘Pick Your Line’ graphics - but this time, I’m definitely a fan.

Out of all the boards I’ve seen for 2013, this is the sickest graphic so far.

^ I’d really like to try one for the “Freeride Camrock” too. Basically, the camber between the bindings is twice as high as that of standard Camrock - and the rocker on the nose is more than twice as high (the highest of any of their Camrock boards) as that of the tail (the lowest of any of their Camrock boards).

Yeah, if my Tasmaniac goes well, I’ll def be super keen to have a burl on one too!!!!!

Not sure if I can say the same about the backless binders though?????

Is the Tasmaniac ‘Pop Camrock’ (like the Joker on which it’s based) or standard Camrock?

At “Craig’s” (Burton R&D proto lab - named after snowbpoarding first true ‘hero’), Burton can turn around rideable prototypes really quickly - so I’m gonna call this one as simply an attempt to cash in - once the NOW and Switchback bindings were launched, and they’d seen the positive reaction. Especially because Burton are referring to these as a “late release”.

Anyway, both NOW and Switchback have a with/without highback option on their bindings - these don’t. Meh.

Loving that YES. PYL graphic.

Following the success of Burton’s Nug series (and their impressive performance in pow) comes the ‘Spliff’ - basically a directional, split Nug.

Loving that YES. PYL graphic.

Something tells me the YES line of 2013 boards are going to be highly sought after as demos at the 2012 Boardworld Shred This September. As long as there’s a 158 YES ‘The Greats’ for me to try out, I’m happy.  wink

Oh and maybe, just maybe, if Australia’s YES distributors happen to be repping a line of associated bindings, I might just be persuaded to give them a thorough review as well.  tongue wink

It seems that Jibber Jones has recently been testing Burton’s noback bindings. Here’s a couple of pics from Instagram:

Is Farm going to be on one…

Hehe, that’d be cool. He’s a legend. I saw a complete list of the riders featured somewhere - I’ll try and track it down.

Apparently I hadn’t seen anywhere near a “complete list” before - all I’d seen (but then, evidently, quickly forgot) was Jamie Lynn, Peter Line, Terje Haakonsen and Ingemar Backman . . .

Yep, farm and kelly will be on it

. . . so I was stoked to see that Farm is on (fittingly) the longest ‘Greats’ board, the 160, and Craig is on the size I want.

Well picked guys!

I might be wrong but I think it based on the Great Beauties 2012, with standard CamRock!!!!!
