A likely story!!

It really is true! We are the 3rd owners of the car. I actually found out the history of why it had the matching number plates. It was the first VT in Canberra apparently so Commonwealth Motors organised the number plates for the first buyer, now it has ended up with us. Unfortunately the number plates are now worth more than the car :-( Almost has 300,000km on it!

I don’t know about NSW, but in the ACT if you want number plates to match the model of your car they cost $4511!
