sweet blizz! I had 24hrs in San Fran on my way to Canada in ‘07 and I managed to squeeze in quite a lot. The arvo I got there I hired a bike and rode around to Fort Point (where they surf under the golden gate) then up and over the golden gate to the town of Sausilito, had some dinner and then caught the last ferry back over just as it was getting dark - that was awesome! Doesn’t cost too much - but you get to see heaps - highly recommended!

Next morning I got the first ferry out to alcatraz and got one of those audio tours and cruised around the whole place by myself. It was pretty eerie but it was epic to hear all the amazing stories on the audio thing - highly recommend getting that….So much better than the people who get a ferry over that just goes around the island and then go back - what the hell is the point of that I wonder? Much better to set foot on the place and explore it yourself!

Yes we did the audio tour and we weren’t going to to but so glad we did!

I believe all the tours now include the audio tour which sounds cool.

The tour we booked includes Muir Woods, Sausilito, Lombard St, Golden Gate Bridge, Cable Car museum and a whole heap of other things.

Stoked that my favourite belt lives on after a home repair job!!!!!

This was after a pair of half wits that were paid to fix it, had no friggin clue!!!!! Twice!!!!!  teacherboy

Avatar

How can you not fix a belt…

Fixed mine with sticky tape..  Although the tape probably cost more then the belt itself..

It was the little leather loop that the end of the belt threads through once its buckled!!!!!

First they stitched it and while it was a solid job, they had stiched the loop makin it smaller, and the end of the belt wouldnt fit through it!!!!!

Then the second time they made it slightly bigger, but still not big enough!!!!! And they used super glue!!!!!

And charged me $13 for their “handy work”?????

I “riveted” back together with an old picture hook I had in the shed!!!!!

So end of the day

dont let people play with your belt?  wink

Avatar

Just remove the entire loop and tie some baling twine around instead… oh wait… you probably want your belt to look respectable.
Please disregard all of the above wink
