Phew looks like my decision to shave my head before leaving will pay off!
What’s the temperature like? need many layers? (can you tell I’m currently packing)
... So where should I go tomorrow kids?
Nope don’t need layers - I had some on today and I was boiling!!
But just in case - don’t forget a warm coat for night time!

From all the reading I’ve done (including the horrible weather forecast for the week I’m there) Cortina is getting the most snow (although it is a fair distance from town) other than that Goryu/hakuba47?

Ahh ok good to know, I had packed long sleeve tops/thermals for under my jacket on the mountain and skins for my legs.
For night time/town I was just planning tshirt/jeans/jacket.
But considering the fact I’d never seen snow until the winter 2011 I still haven’t learnt how cold things can get.
Maybe being a fleece too for under your jacket… Yeah it gets bloody cold at night! You need a coat for walking around I reckon

Ahh ok thanks good to know. I’m sure I’ll have a bunch more questions over the week. Before you go on a week long bender pick me out some nice restaurants and onsens please

Cortina!! By far the best worth the early bus for sure
Second vote for Cortina!
Happy hour turned into unhappy hangover… Idiot!!! Fun though
