Board and binding help

looking to get the Ride DH2 board with the burton missions bindings but im not sure if they fit. the burton missions will fit the est channel for burton only. The 3d channel thay burton also use and the 4x4 set up. The Ride DH2 uses a 2x4 channel i think soo i take it that means they wont fit. but am i right ??

Regular Mission bindings will work. Mission EST bindings will only work on a Burton channel board.

Any normal Burton disc (non-EST) binding will work on any 4 hole pattern snowboard. They should come with a universal disc.

for $20 you can buy “retro discs” that will allow you to put the est bindings on the board.
in my opinion you’d be better off just getting different bindings that will fit the board.

any reason you only want the mission bindings?

Really!? Are you sure its not the other way round? Ie. The retro discs allow regular bindings to be put on an est Burton board. Unless something new has come out, in which case I need to get some!

^ You’re right, Dan - It’s the other way around.

LowGuido - EST bindings don’t use a disc at all, so it’s not like they could make an alternate one anyway.

Nice board choice shaka
But why do u want the mission bindings?
I haven’t tried the new models but of all the burton bindings, missions are pretty average. They will do the job but there are WAY better bindings to go with that nice board.
If you’re only interested in burton, can I suggest the Cartel? For that matter, any binding other than the Mission, Custom or Freestyle Binding. All their other bindings are sweet.
I had some cartels that I rode until half the paint was rubbed off them and u couldn’t even tell what they were! And they still didn’t snap!

Yeah I agree with Andy really.

Yea, definitely check Union bindings and Flux bindings. Some of the best in the industry!

+1 for missions.

I have Burton missions on my Ride Machete and they are freaking awesome :D

The Missions are solid bindings and really good value, which is why they are a popular choice. Sure, there are better bindings out there - personally I’d step up to the Cartels, but there’s nothing wrong with the Missions.

The reason why i went with missions because they seem like a solid choice all rounder.

Agree with rider, try Cartels or Malavitas
