the Devo thread!!

on late shift this week while most are on holidays :(. The drive to work on boxing day was the worst, passing cars carrying surfboards, bikes etc. :’(

The unfortunate finally happened. We went to the vet yesterday morn, but got kinda general advice, by yesterday arvo Little Mary was showing more signs of having trouble breathing so we went to a different vet.  Quick xray showed what looked like some possible pneumonia, so they gave her fluid under the skin and the first of twice a day medicine. Almost half eight she started making some jerky movements, not unlike when shge was trying to farce some poo, so i went out into the kitchen to get her stuff to help.  as I made it to the sink she died in Mrs Dragons arms at 8:26pm. 

We are going to try and suss getting her sister a companion hopefully soon, as I don’t know if Alexandra has figured out Mary’s not coming back yet

thanks people- everybody!!! it was a really hard night, first pets ever owned.. but Alex seems to be doing ok.  got a new piggle from RSPCA today, a bit younger, but hoping works out.  I never thought it would be that hard, these were the Mrs pets, but we are at peace, we did everything humanly possible.  i wish I had some snow to get lost in.
