Opening Weekend!
So who is going where this weekend in Victoria?
I am going to suss it out on Friday where im going to go. Depending on snow and what is on at night time.
Snow is looking better at the moment so hopefully it keeps coming over the next few days.

Sure the snow might be falling but is it really worth taking out the board and doing a run down Bourke Street? Some might be up for that, but I reckon its a bit of a waste of time and money to drive 3-4 hours for that…..

And i know what you mean, i am probably really going to go if it keeps building up over the next few days, i wouldnt mind having just a small play round on burke st. But that is why im trying to find out which place is going to be rocking the most at night time.
All i was going to be doing this weekend in melbourne would have been going out on the town. Would much rather do it up there and board for 2-3hrs as well

P.S. I did try to snowboard my driveway over summer haha so whats there at the moment does look better than that
We’ll be at Hotham for sure, great to catch up with friends. If a slide is on, thats a bonus.

I went early last year and took this massive scrape on the bottom of my board. Ran over a grate or something. Its nearly all the way through

Did that going down the Big D last year, but was about mid season, some reason a rock was chilling out of the snow.
I’ll be up Hotham on monday for the rest of the season.
Thought i’d stick around down home, work, make some extra coin over the long weekend.
I might head down to Thredbo the Friday after the opening weekend if anything other than Friday Flat is open. I think there’s a reasonable chance something will be, but won’t be at all suprised if it’s not.

There has been some snow holy crap lets hope it doesn’t go all aussie on us and disappear. Ladies and gentlemen I declare war on the mountains. Lets sharpen our weapons carve the mountain a new one. All in favour say a big FAT “I”. Hear me ROAR.

Opening 3 lifts on 10cm base. boy they are eager!

i just found out that thredbo doent do part-time instructors and now its too late to apply for a partime instructor job at perisher haha damn now im either gonna have to do a full season or buy a season pass :(
