I think I’ll be ordering mine tomorrow or the day after ^^

And before anyone starts shouting ^^:

I made the decision to go for the GoPro because it’s cheaper(I’m a student so not to much to go here) and I’m a n00b at filming so I now the VIO POV HD is better but I probably wouldn’t even use it right or to it full potential.

Sweet! Look forward to seeing some of your footage Gamblor. Will you be using your gopro 1 still as well? Maybe for a second angle or just as a comparison.

i sold the old one to a friend so we might hook up for some tandems. Got loads of other friends with the old one as well, so I’m sure some footage will be mixed.

gopro footage!

hmmm several times in that footage i saw a reddish dot on the snow.  doesn’t contour use a laser for shot alignment?

edit: from his shadow it looks like he is wearing a gopro.  not sure where the red dot is coming from

haven’t seen this before, but if ya takin the GoPro in the surf/rapids etc it might be a great investment!!!!!

GoPro Floaty

It may only be $22 but some foam painted yellow will do the same job. In fact that’s where GoPro got the idea - surfers sick of paying out two or three times to replace their camera’s when lost at sea.

GoPro isn’t the cheapest.

Is it me or did you just quote me without any extra comment??

And yes some foam will do the same job, but this is special made for the GoPro so you can be sure it works and won’t fall in the middle of the sea
btw is it combine-able with the extra battery pack?(just for info)

The extra comment was on the end, scarface!!!!!

I’m guessin that ya have to get another one to stick onto ant other backings that ya have in ya kit!!!!!!

And for $22 it’s highly visible, the adhesive will most likely be 3M so it ain’t comin off and like ya said scar, it was made to work so no need for experimental failures!!!!!

It’s a purple dot, that ya sometimes get along with vertical purple lines!!!!! The first time I had them in my footage I thought that there was somethin wrong with the camera, but apparently it’s a common thing!!!!!

Somethin to do with the sun/moisture/lens/sensor????? Can’t really remember, but it’s no biggy from my opinion anyway!!!!!

(thx for info Mizu ^^)
Well the GoPro isn’t the cheapest but it’s the best price/value I can afford right now.
