thought i better throw up some photos of the trip so far.
First stop was;
turns out it wasnt such a good idea getting a season pass for here…snow is dogshit and only like 4 runs open and a few rails thrown together called a park, the only redeeming feature is the airbag jump they have.
Rode 2 days at Kirkwood then some mates rocked up so we went to Heavenly with them snow is heaps better, hell more terrain open. Their snowmaking ability is insane! hasnt snowed in ages but they are pumping out a lot of fluffy stuff.
Here i am hungover as shit in the gondola on the way up (the casino has $1 drinks on thursday nights…awesome/bad idea)

I completely forgot to buy a santa suit when we were in Reno, and i couldnt find one in Tahoe at all so i couldnt ride in a santa suit today, but here is a shot of yours truly relaxing after a hard day riding. was trying to lock in my back 3’s landed a few and stacked a f*ckload. Lucky i wore my helmet today…

Are you staying in Lake Tahoe? Do the lights still dim when they switch on the biggest snowmaking in the world?? The grid can’t cope.

First day was up at Heavenly, wasn’t too bad but not really what you travel halway round the world for. Got smashed at a bar last night as per usual for Xmas eve, was called Mcp’s from memory and ended up with some new american friends at Montbleu Casino then staggered home. Was in bed till 11 today before I felt guilty ans went to Kirkwood for a half day. As Deano mentioned the snow is bad there. Very frustrating as the terrain just lookes so good if there was a dump.
Going to go check out Sierra tomorrow I think and maybe Northstar the day after, haven’t managed to catch up with Deano yet bu there’s still time.
