Thought I’d share a video a good friend and my paddling buddy put together this season. They were at Perisher then skied into the upper upper Snow River and paddled from Charlotte Pass to Guthega. Got caught in a blizzard while on the river.
Enjoy
what month of the year was this?
I think it was September
That’s rad. Personally I usually try to stay OUT of the freezing water not in it, but it’s awesome to watch. I liked the part where they paddle through in between the ice. That was sweet.
Thats awesome.
I don’t think I’d be keen for it myself. Amazing scenery
That’s awesome! Looks bloody cold though
They just bought drysuits before the trip so they said the only part of them that was cold was their hands. Everything else fine. I love how one side of the river is covered in snow and the otherside is all grass
thats mad,
Cool!!!!!
Dude that was sick I’ve gotta try rafting one day
Very cool!!!
Mate, that looks so sick. Would love to give that a crack one day.
I’ve done a tiny bit of kayaking before, but nothing in waters that cold.
Cool vid!
I might have to steal that for my avatar
