Mizu - 2012 Burton Malavita’s and 2012 Burton Hails - old footbeds went straight into the new boots aswell so pretty happy about that since it’s one less expense for now.

Jeremy - done deal, I’ll give you a call when I’m leaving home tomorrow, won’t be a really early start, just whenever I get my ass out of bed since theres no new snow and I know my feet will be hurting by the end of tomorrow.

Did ya try on some NIKE’s finney????? (Still have to put up pics of ya new gear!!!!!)

And Jez, I’m not surprised that ya not invited!!!!! The last thing that ya want is for someone to hose ya down in sub zero temps!!!!!

Didn’t bother since I can’t get staff discounts on them. Went with burton again as I know they fit well and they have a good sized toe box which was perfect for me.

Thats pretty much it buddy.. burton boots + burton bindings you really can’t go wrong. Put the boots on tonight to break them in a bit more and strapped on the bindings and have got to say they feel like a great combo - the asym strap is brilliant, tonnes of support and a really firm feel around the ankle, will be keen to see just how good this re:flex binding system with the flexible base is compared to my old ride bindings with the alloy base plate which was very rigid.

Sweet you bought some new gear! Were you not digging your Ride’s anymore?

How’s the foot going? Started work yet?

So wish I could go shred with you guys again and have some chicken wings and beer…

Good news is my leave is pretty much sorted for a snow trip to Whistler in March smile

Switched to the burtons because the rides may have been contributing to the rubbing on my foot. Foot so far is going well, will see how these new boots go.

Starting work on the 15th so still have a little time off before that goes ahead.

Good to hear about March - keep us posted with dates and I’ll try and get some extra days off work to go riding with you.
