Whats worse, is the people who drive like they’re ‘Driving Miss Daisy’, but when it’s an overtaking section they suddenly turn into ‘The Fast and The Furious’, then back to ‘Miss Daisy’ after the overtaking area.
What’s up with that?!
HELL YEAH!!! It makes me furious!!! There should be a law that says you’re allowed to blow those selfish morons off the road with a rocket launcher!!!
did you put quotations around my movie references
yep getting stuck behind Miss Daisy sucks :( makes me rage
And when people are drivin a bit slower cause they aren’t familiar with the roads then that’s a good thing really!
NOT if they block others! Unfamiliarity with the roads is no excuse for selfish behaviour. If people want to drive slowly, they should pull aside every single time a more competent driver comes up behind them and wants to pass.
If ya did the road up to perisher 15kmh slower than ya normally do, you’ll probably find that ya might save 10mins tops!!!!! What’s 10mins in the scheme of things?????
Here’s a hypothetical. It’s a powder day and you don’t have a lift pass. There’s only one ticket window open, and the person in front of you is paying for their lift pass in small change, slowly counting it all out - and the lifts are about to open. They’re not doing anything wrong or illegal - they’re just happily taking their time and ‘going at their own pace’, and couldn’t give a crap about anyone behind them. By the time they pay for their pass, the lifts have opened, and you’ve missed out on the best fresh. So are you fine with this person selfishly holding you up? That’s effectively what selfish, slow drivers do on roads where there’s hardly any opportunity to pass.

Haha, yeah, sorry dude, couldn’t help myself - grammar Nazi.

Holy Thread HiJack!!!!
take a chill pill dudes

hey chucky - get up earlier
take your time, smell the flowers
hey chucky - get up earlier
take your time, smell the flowers
Why the hell should ANYONE have the right to FORCE me to have to “get up earlier”???
If people want to take their time, they SHOULD do it WITHOUT inconveniencing others!!!
Many of the cars stuck in ditches on the side of mountain roads are there due to angry, frustrated drivers trying to make up time after some inconsiderate road hog selfishly expects them to “take a chill pill”, “get up earlier” or “take their time, smell the flowers”.

Chucky - I agree with the sentiments you express but - and I say this with love…. I think it is beer o’clock for you!
Hahaha! Yeah - inconsiderate drivers are a MAJOR hate for me. xo

So what do you do when someone is up your arse on a road that ya unfamiliar with????? Do you pull over, or do you keep on drivin at ya own pace????? And answer honestly, Chucky!!!!!

In reality, I would have stayed on snow, pre-purchased my lift pass and been waitin at the lift line 30 mins before openin!!!!!
And all the while, sniggerin at the people fightin over car parks and linin up in the ticket queues!!!!!
I have ALWAYS been a planner, and ALWAYS will be!!!!! Nothin pisses me off more than complications due to an oversight that could have been dealt with BEFORE you go on holidays!!!!!

no they are there because the drivers made a bad decision
if you are angry, you shouldn’t be driving
I hate the speed wankers that have to drive up the hill at 100km
i drive at the speed limit, overtake at your discretion, but don;t put my life in danger while doing it
as mizu said before - only going to save 10mins or so
Chill Winston!!

I ALWAYS make every effort to let them pass.

Nope, there’s no “in reality” allowed, this is a hypothetical.
But if you really want to avoid answering that question, here’s another one:
Being a “planner”, you’ve stayed on snow, pre-purchased your lift pass, and been waiting in the lift line 30 minutes before opening - and there’s only one person in front of you. Being a “planner”, the closest lift to your on-snow accommodation is the T-bar that provides the quickest access to the resort’s best terrain. You can get to other lifts, but it would take far too long to get to them in deep, fresh snow on a pow day. After waiting for 30 minutes for the lift to open, you discover that the person in front of you inststs on riding the T-bar by themselves. Even worse, they’re “unfamiliar” with T-bars, so it takes them many, many attempts to get going - and they refuse to step aside and let more experienced users go up first. Meanwhile, the whole resort is getting tracked Fine by you?
So I ALWAYS hypothetically plan my trips then!!!!!
And there should be more drivers like you on the road, Chucky!!!!! You’re truly one of a kind!!!!!
