Your welcome Black cool smile
You really will LOVE that board. I saw in the other thread that you got the Burton Malavitas to go with it. Are they the ones with the curved high back? If they are that’s great cause I’m using some Technine bindings that are really similar to the malavitas with the curved high back and they match the board really well.

Yeah they have slight curve is the high back, haven’t really got anything to compare them with since i’ve only ever rented and the stock rent bindings are usually rubbish.

They also have pretty sick graphics - a chick half dressed holding a gun haha.

Nice! Yeah I know the ones.
My girl tells me that Mala vita is Italian for ‘Sick Life’ which is what you’re going to have in Whistler wink

Now get over there and live the dream on your sweet new setup!

So I thought I’d dig up this old thread again because I’m thinking of getting a Arbor Westmark or Draft for my next board. It will be replacing my K2 WWW (151) and my K2 Parkstar (157). The Parkstar is pretty battered so I’ll probably retire it/keep it for mates to use.

I’ll keep the WWW for jib sessions, which is all it’s good for. It was a really fun board to ride for a while and great to learn presses/butters on, but I’m a bit over how much of a noodle it is, gets annoying at speed and over bigger jumps.

I’m leaning more towards the Westmark than the Draft because I’m not sure how soft Arbors soft flex is, I don’t want something as soft as the WWW again.

So my question is, would it be worth replacing my WWW with a Draft, or would I be best off going for the Westmark?

PS 75kg, 180cm, size 11 boot.

My first thought is, nope!

The draft is Arbors Urban noodle.
It is a sick board, BUT it’s very soft so to replace the WWW with a draft would really serve no purpose if you want something less noodle-ish.
Also the draft comes with Bronze Edges, good if you are a Rider who rides loads of sketchy Urban rails and throws his board away after you finish your video part for the season.
I haven’t ridden with you Koper, maybe that describes you, but it sure isn’t me.
The average rider will just find themselves with a 100 cracks in their edges after only one season and be a bit disappointed.
The Draft is a Built-To-Thrash jib-stick, people who want that, love it (but most don’t). Arbor team riders love it (cause they get their boards for free wink ).
The Westmark is it’s tougher older brother. You will get a little more pop and a lot more durability in the steel edges. And I promise you can butter and press the hell outta this thing.

I think go with the Westmark as well. Such a solid, all-round board. You have your WWW if you feel like riding something super playful.

Awesome, thanks heaps Andy and Rider, That covers it all for me grin the Westmark is definitely on top of the list for my next park board then.
