So im considering getting the Arbor Westmark or something similar, but i can’t find any reviews on it!
If anyone has ridden and wants to give it a bit of a review it would be a mad g-up before i make the purchase!
Also im 6’4 and weigh roughly 75kg boot size US-10 - riding style is freestyle / park / powder
Cheers!
Andy Aitken has one no doubt he’ll post in here once he spots the thread.
I’ve got an Arbor Cadence, and although I haven’t used it yet, Arbor is a quality brand, that definately make quality boards!
I rented & tried Arbor Formula at Thredbo and it was great on spring snow condition…
Basically description for Arbor can be found on this forum

Good luck with your purchase
just google “arbor westmark review” and you’ll find plenty. I know that Angry Snowboarder liked it, and he’s a fussy prick.
Pretty sure that cord’s hubby has one as well!!!!!!
Hi Black
I think I can help u out with this one bud. I’m 6’4 like u, I weight about 80 - 85kg, I wear size 12 boots and I ride an Arbor Westmark
SO… Here’s your review!
For starters it’s the best board I’ve ever owned and it’s the 2nd arbor I’ve bought.
Knowing your your stats and what kind of riding you like I can basically say - If you like riding rockered boards, this board was made for you! And you will love it!
* It has a bamboo core (at least mine does, not sure if the new one does but i’m pretty sure it would) which makes it super light and a nice flex.
* The Westmark is like the Draft but more versatile rather than being all about street. Which is why it has steel edges instead of bronze and is a medium-soft flex instead of a soft flex. Which means it still butters and presses like crazy but it’s just stiff enough to not feel like a noodle of jumps or when your bombing over rough terrain which is a big plus.
*Like Lib Tech’s magnetraction, Arbor rocker boards have ‘Grip Tech’ which instead of a wavy side edge there are 4 points on the edge that get wider right under your toes and heels. This lets it hold a better carve and not wash out when landing spins. This is the weak point of all true rockers so having the grip tech will not make it as good as a camber board for holding an edge but it makes it WAY better than a rocker with normal edges.
The other plus to grip tech is for guys with big feet the get too much toe and heel over hang, it widens under your foot meaning you size 10 is definitely gunna fit and you can ride a board with a narrower side cut than u would ever usually be able to. Big plus for the tall guys like us.
*I personally like a true rocker shape board or a true camber shape board more than a dual camber/multi camber/C2/hybrid camber(what ever you want to call it) because having to many bends in the board feels weird on rails to me. I haven’t tried all kinds of hybrid but a true rocker with one bend in it gives me a better feel for how my board is going to make contact and slide on a rail rather than guessing at which bend of the board I’m going to land on and try not to catch an edge.
*I’ve put it through hell and haven’t snapped it.
*The only thing that I could ever complain about on this board is that it’s not a camber… so it doesn’t carve or land spins as well as a camber. But it carves better than any rocker I’ve ridden (including libtechs) and it floats in powder so effortlessly.
So to sum it up, if you already ride a rocker and like it. Buy this board… right now. If you’re riding a camber right now then test ride a rocker board first to see if u like the feeling of rocker and if u do… buy this board lol. If don’t then stick with camber.
Hope that helps you man.
Let me know if u buy one
wow thanks for the review champ, has really helped me out in narrowing down what board to get!
Being 6’4 are you riding a 159? ‘Cause i’m still figuring out what size is good for my height.
yeah my husband has the Draft and he loves it. Best board he’s ever had.

its more to do with your weight than your height
with your weight 75kg (170lbs~)
159 is about right for freestyle board

Yeah bro, I ride the 159. Stanced all the way out. When I’m working a season at the snow I drop alot of weight so I’ll go down to about 79 - 80 kg so I’m pretty close to u in that way as well. Just check that the 159 isn’t too wide for your size 10 boots. It shouldn’t be, but just make sure.
I would recommend the 159 for you too. I was going to tell u that but forgot lol.
awesome thanks mate,
I’m going into STM bondi tonight so i’ll speak to jeremy and get a board sorted out!
It’s going to be between an 159 arbor westmark and a chemical storm octorocker, the only problem is the octorocker is in a 155
Given you’ll be in Whistler for a significant amount of time I’d say going for the arbor would be the better choice. I just think that the 155 is going to be a touch too short for you over there - I’m 5’11” and wouldn’t go any shorter than a 55. You could probably get away with a 55 it for australian conditions but when you’ve got the big pow days over there you’ll really want those extra 4cm’s.
True that, and i’m not sure but the octorocker in 155 is to narrow for me so i never got to ride it. It might be to narrow for u too but u should check it out in store anyway. Everyone seams to really like.
You’d better be quick if you want a Westmark. Looks like they’re just about sold out everywhere!
boom proud new owner of an arbor westmark 159.
stoked as.
