Has anyone ridden one????

What’s ya thoughts????

Spec-wise, it’s similar to the Yes Tasman(iac) that was being demoed at the shred - but stiffer.

The added ‘stiffness’ is provided through Yes’ alternate line of boards with exactly the same spec, but different graphics - the ‘Great Boobs Of History’.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to ride the Tasmaniac, and if I got the Great Boobs graphics, while I know that I’ll be donatin to a good cause, my concentration might suffer a little whilst ridin on my own!!!!!

Read my review on the YES Tasman(iac): https://www.boardworld.com.au/forums/viewthread/2924/

It’s pretty much the same board, except the Great Beauties has UltiGrip.

I really liked the Tasman(iac). Excellent do-it-all board, and lots of fun for Australian conditions and park.

Are they gonna bring out the Tasmaniac for next season????

That’s something I’ll have to ask Amine. I’ll find out when I speak to him. It was a limited run of only 120 boards so I’m not too sure.

So is the flex similar with the Tasmaniac as the Basic????

The Tasman(iac) is a bit stiffer than the Basic.

The Tasman(iac) is a bit stiffer than the Basic.

Oh, I thought the Tasman(iac) was flex rated by Yes as ‘Soft’ like the Jackpot? Is it a Medium flex, like the GBOH?

Avatar

Yeah, it’s mid flex.

That just makes me respect your pressing skills even more!  shaka
