Saw The Thing tonight. Really cool movie. If you like horror scifi movies, this is a real good one! Also if you like games like Gears of War, Resistance, etc then you will prob enjoy this too. Its a remake of an older film/game. The orginal was in 1982, then it became an original XBox game, and now this movie. The effects are super cool.

The original was actually made in 1951!!!!!!
If ya get a chance to watch it, it’s a crack up!!!!!! Prob scared the shit out of people back in the day though!!!!!!
Cheers Mizu. after further reading I now realise that The Thing I just watched is the pre story to the 1982 The Thing story. and 1951 The Thing From Another World, is more along the same lines as the recent one

Nah, but I downloaded a HD version and put it on the big screen at home with surround sound… so it was still pretty amazing!

The most recent movie I watched was ‘The Tunnel’, the mockumentary filmed in the tunnels under Sydney. If you live in Sydney, I suggest you don’t watch it. It’s a horror and I was terrified half the time. And I’m down in Melbourne :\
