hahahhahahaha I’m not even going to bother, now. Enjoy your day, chucky, wherever you might be!
p.s. can’t help myself - credibility via an internet forum? I’m actually giggling!
Yes, probably best you don’t “bother” any more. Clearly, it’s not doing you any favours.
Why wouldn’t you take all this technology for granted? Where is it going to go? It’s not about to disappear? The only reason I can see for it to disappear from someone in a first world nations life on a broad scale is due to a cataclysmic disaster. In which case I would be glad to have had a prior occupation that would be of some use in a world without computers and gadgets. Seeing as the likelihood of this occurring are remote I would safely say I can take technology for granted these days.
Where it’s at now is a collective effort of thousands if not millions of people, Steve Jobs was not standing tall, proud and alone at the forefront of the computer age, he like many others of his generation and since then have stood on the shoulders of others to get to where they are today. That’s my opinion at any rate, if it’s valid or not is entirely subjective according to different frames of reference, Chucky’s frame might relegate it to somewhere below valid…………….

Really? Your criteria for/against taking things for granted is whether or not they’ll disappear if you do/don’t? That’s incredibly disappointing. Whatever happened to simply being grateful?

Sure, it’s an opinion, and much of it is valid. However, it ignores the fact that Steve Jobs was the guiding light. As with most things, it’s a team effort - but without strong leadership, teams fail.
I think this also sums it up a bit.

Clearly, you don’t come across as arrogant at all

Not even close.
How many of those others have directly affected your life personally? What have any of them done to make your life better? What have any of them done to provide you with a career?

Clearly, by comparison, I’ve earned my right to be arrogant.

haha in what way exactly have you earned your right to be arrogant?
haha in what way exactly have you earned your right to be arrogant?
I wouldn’t expect you to know.
EDIT: And just so we’re perfectly clear here:
I am NOT one of the people who have condescendingly stuck their big noses into a situation where others, for whatever reason, are clearly upset - and have deliberately chosen to belittle their grief, whether you personally related to it or not. YOU know who you are (well, you SHOULD, but evidently some of you are far too delusional), and you should be ashamed of yourselves!
I think this thread has run its course. Closing the thread.
Keep it friendly, people.
