2 days after my 18th! Definitely coming if it isn’t outrageously expensive. Anyone know the prices of different tickets/seating/standing arrangements?

It’s a festival kinda thing, no set seating/standing arrangements, heap of different stages etc. just go see who you want when they’re set to play. tickets were $150 this year iirc.

all festival prices are around the 150-ish mark give or take a few $$$

and yeh, no seating. seats are for homo’s mosh pit is where its at

Yeah as far as Soundwave Sydney goes, I’ve had mates who’ve gone and gotten heatstroke because there are no options for sitting in the shade, anywhere at all at the venue.

Their organization skills suck… but they do bring the goods when organizing acts to play…

I think I was at that one…

Have been to 2 of the last 4 soundwaves 08, 10.. missed 09 and 11 since I was over in Canada at the time.

Both were stinking hot and poorly organised but end of the day I’m there to see the bands do their thing so I can kind of turn a blind eye to the bad points in regards to how the day is run etc

this year they held it at the same place where big day out is, organization was 100 times better then all the other years, im sure they will b holding it there again

Olympic park is a way better venue, you’re right.
