Plenty of skateboarders who grew up in the early 2000s consider Girl's Yeah Right to be the pinnacle of skateboarding. While that's certainly an arguable claim, it can't be argued that the Girl and Chocolate team of that era was one of the best of all time – and the footage will be forever engraved in the minds of many.
While the movie itself wasn't released until 2003, filming sessions began in late 2000. The guys over at Crailtap just dug up over 8 minutes of unseen footage from November of that year, featuring classic spots and classic skaters clocking barrels of footage in their heyday – including Stevie Williams before he left Chocolate. If you're a fan of skateboarding in any way, this is a must watch.
Featuring: Mike York, Stevie Williams, Rick Howard, Keenan Milton, Jeron Wilson, Chris Roberts, Richard Mulder, Daniel Castillo, Ricardo Carvalho, Tony Ferguson, Robbie McKinley, Alfonso Fernandez, Jesus Fernandez, Daniel Lebron, Guy Mariano, Paulo Diaz and Rudy Johnson.
