Ricki Bedenbaugh was one of the premier skate filmers of the late 90s and early 00s, and you can imagine some of the epic clips he has stacked up in his collection. Thankfully for us, Ricki has decided to release a bunch of classic clips in the form of Total Recall, a new series chronicling skaters like Mark Appleyard, Tosh Townend, John Rattray, Bastien Salabanzi and the majority of the Flip and Element riders of the era.
One clip that sticks out in this episode is Tosh Townend's incredible feeble grind down the El Toro handrail, at the age of just 15. We reckon this was probably the third trick that ever went down the rail, sometime just after Mumford's 50-50, and of course Heath Kirchart's lipslide. This was groundbreaking stuff back then, and the fact it came from a kid who was barely 15 is pretty mind blowing. Enjoy the clip.
