Like most large-budget action sports 'films', Travis Rice's The Fourth Phase was met with polarizing opinions from the snowboarding world. It featured breathtaking backcountry footage from across the Earth, but also a whole bunch of documentary-style filler content based around the crew's battles and travels while filming for the Red Bull feature.
This edit scraps everything except the actual snowboarding, bombarding us with 18 minutes of pure shredding and nothing else. From the backcountry of Wyoming to the snowy Japanese Alps, the volcanoes of Russia, and a spectacularly remote area of Alaska, this edit remains totally awe-inspiring without the polarizing filler content. It's worth a watch, that's for sure.
