Shane O’Neill Quits Primitive

"I'm starting a new company"

In a somewhat surprising move, Shane O'Neill has announced that he's no longer involved with Primitive Skateboarding. In an Instagram post this morning, Shane confirmed that he's "starting a new board company with friends and skaters you all know of", before confirming that all will be revealed later this year.

Speculation now mounts over who exactly will follow Shane to his new venture. We're hearing that Shane's close friends, ams Ronnie Kessner and Yosef Ratleff, will be involved, however it's assumed that bigger names will also join. Everyone from Sean Malto to Marc Johnson, Mark Suciu, Tiago Lemos and Franky Villani are being thrown around as possible team riders.

It's going to be an interesting few months as information continues to surface, and we wish Shane all the best as this new chapter unfolds. We'll keep you posted as the information flows.
