If Thrasher had a female SOTY award (why don't they?), this part from Lacey Baker would surely put her at the top of the shortlist. From tech ledge lines to intricate manual combos, Lacey has improved her game out of sight lately, and this part instantly cements her among the likes of Marisa Del Santo, Elissa Steamer and Vanessa Torres in the "best female street skateboarders of all time" reckoning.
That's no overstatement, either – Lacey tames all sorts of well-known spots around LA and NYC in this one, including an eye-opening schoolyard bench banger and a super-tech ender at the Fort Greene Monument in Brooklyn. Lacey pushes female skateboarding that extra step once again, and by our reckoning this is simply one of the best female parts of all time, period. Exciting times ahead.
