History was made in slopestyle at the 2015 Burton US Open, as Japan's Yuki Kadono nailed back-to-back triple cork 1620s for the first time in a competitive event on his way to gold. Kadono's run was enough to edge out Mark McMorris, who was his only real competitor throughout the event. In the women's slope it was Jamie Anderson who took gold, as she conquered a field that was heavily dominated by European competitors.
