BLAK Headwear has been making its mark within the Australian snow scene for quite some time now. Formerly known as Blak Apparel, BLAK Headwear has become a legitimate brand run by snowboarders, for snowboarders. Creating high-quality headwear and apparel that holds up to the harshest of winter conditions. BLAK has also assembled a pretty solid team as of late with plenty of local talent including Andy Betts, Graham Mear, Joel Meakin, Buster Barton, Taron Lucas, and Corlyn Feng. Side Hit Social Club is their official 2019 team edit, filmed at Victorian resorts Mt Hotham and Falls Creek.

"In mid-September, we set off on a trip with our Family Of Misfits with the aim of producing a video that encases BLAK as a brand, relatable snowboarding and good times that would get crew wanting to head to the hills and go snowboarding!

We wanted to showcase the Victorian Resorts of Falls Creek and Mt Hotham and show off how amazing the terrain, scenery and terrain parks are in Victoria where BLAK is born and bred. The Victorian High country is like nowhere else in the world where the lush rain forest meets the Alpine region, Alpine villages filled with like-minded snow folk, Après and nightlife scenes to rival European resorts, terrain and terrain parks that are world-class. We got pretty skunked with the weather and had everything from snow, rain, wind, fog and a dust storm you name it we got it…. Luckily, we scored a couple of sunny days and this is what we came up with!"
