We'll be honest – we've never heard of Desus & Mero. Their latest interviewee is Bam Margera, though, and the duo cover some interesting topics with the recently rehabilitated Jackass star. While Bam speaks about his Jackass and Viva La Bam days as you'd expect, he also sheds plenty of light on his current skateboarding situation, including the reasons he got back onto the board.
“I went and saw the doctor. They did all this blood work, and they were like, ‘you’re so dehydrated from alcohol that your legs are like dry-rotted rubber bands.’ They said, ‘I don’t think you’re going to be able to skate anymore.’ So I flew to Spain and learned everything again. I was there for a year. I still had all of my editing equipment there.”
The interview also reveals that the new season of VICE's Epicly Later'd documentary series will kick off with a Bam episode.
Perhaps most interestingly, though, Bam mentions a recent midnight photo session at FDR organised by Element at the 14:15 mark. Is a full comeback on the cards? Whether you love or hate him, it can't be denied that a new Element collaboration with Bam would be a pretty spectacular development. Time will tell...
