Every garment in the 3CS line is constructed using the finest most fashionable, technically advanced fabrics available today. From outer shell fabrics, zippers, press studs right down to the softest tricot available. Our main goal is to ensure your comfort from first lifts to the last run of the day. We do this by offering specialised fabrics with specific waterproofing breath-ability combinations, this enables you customise your outerwear to your riding environment.
 

Outershell Fabrics

LAMINATION OR COATING?
3CS uses a combination of laminated and coated products for a number of reasons; Coated fabrics provide a flexible cost effective alternative to lamination. Laminated fabrics provide a very durable highly resilient waterproofing option. Laminated fabrics maintain a higher waterproofness for a much longer period of time.

2 LAYER 10/10 POLYESTER BROKEN TWILL (bt)
This is featured in the Signal series of garments. This durable stylish weave has a great look with its slub weave to add an extra dimension to the garments in this series. This combined with a DWR coating to provide a high performance shield against bad weather.

2 LAYER 15/10 LAMINATED NYLON 3/2 BRUSHED TWILL (tw)
Featured in our TRANSMISSION SERIES this twill weave is a structurally a very strong durable weave and is the reliable workhorse of the 3CS fabric line. Added to the exterior of the fabric is a DWR (durable, water repelency).

2 LAYER 15/10 LAMINATED POLYESTER DOBBY WOVEN PLAID
This dobby weave is a structurally very strong and durable. This fabric provides a stylish highly textured finish to the garment as opposed to the cheaper print options. Added to the exterior of the fabric is a DWR (durable, water repellence).

2 LAYER 15/10 LAMINATED POLYESTER DOBBY ACID WASH (aw)
This is a new fabric for 2012 brought into the line to enhance the street wear vibe coming through in garments within the range. This acid wash look fabric has great hand feel and being a dobby weave is very durable. Added to the exterior of the fabric is a DWR (durable, water repellence).

2 LAYER 20/15 LAMINATED 3/2 NYLON BRUSHED TWILL (tw)
Featured in our RADAR SERIES of garments this twill weave is a structurally a very strong durable weave. Added to the exterior of the fabric is a NANO DWR (durable, water repelency).

2 LAYER 20/15 LAMINATED NYLON/POLY BLEND SUPER HERRINGBONE (shb)
This is a highly textured fabric with a soft full hand feel, which creates an added dimension to each garment. Added to the exterior of the fabric is a NANO DWR (durable, water repellence).

2 LAYER 20/15 LAMINATED MICRO HERRINGBONE (mhb)
Featured in our Radar SERIES. A new fabric for 2012 with a subtle herringbone finish that provides a supple soft hand feel while still providing superior strength and durability Added to the exterior of the fabric is a NANO DWR (durable, water repelency).
 

Coatings

DWR COATING
Durable water repellency coating, this Teflon based coating is added to the outer shell of the fabric to provide a strong barrier against water and also great stain resistance properties.

NANO DWR COATING
This is the best water repelency available period. This water repelency system provides a superior protection against snow and water. It also has a great resistance to oils dust and grease. By using NANO DWR your garment stays water resistant for a much longer period, even after 15 wash cycles the NANO DWR function maintains over 90% of it’s capacity.
 

Lining Fabrics

SOFT TRICOT MICROFIBRE
A soft-brushed polyester that adds comfort and warmth by using water resistant fibres to quickly and effectively wick moisture away from the body.

POLY MESH
A soft-netted fabric with 1/16″ channels is incorporated into the garment into areas that are more prone to possible overheating. Its fundamental assembly efficiently moves unwanted heat and moisture away from the body.

NYLON TAFFETA
70 Denier grade nylon is featured in both a coated and uncoated form. The coated form has a polyurethane coating to resist any water penetration in the waist and leg gaiter areas. The uncoated form is used in arms and leg linings.
